“Gamer?
Did you mean those nerd people with the awfully looking face? Come on man, it’s
disgusting.” Maybe those statement really mean, but that’s the truth. Many people
consider gamers as something really bad and you mustn’t be, but that’s not 99%
correct either. Recent studies said, being a gamer will improve your skills
like creativity, response, and even your basic knowledge. Plus, these skills
can really be applied in real life.
Making
decisions faster is really important. For example, when you are given several
questions and you must answer it in no time, I guarantee it will be hard for
you. Well, it might be different if you’re gamer. Gamer can make decisions 25%
faster than any other people, because in some games, the gamer always been
pushed to focus on six things at the same time without confusing them. The best
example is Super Mario Brothers. While you move Mario, you must pay attention
with the road, the monsters and even some surprising attack. The benefit? You will
get used to think many things and give the action faster.
Have you
ever imagined to be hero or the bad guy in some games? Well, I had. Did you
know being a gamer also improve your creativity and imagination? It’s related
with making action based on what have you been imagined, just like making preparation
before do something. A basic RPG (Role-Play Game) type offers you a
Hi-Definition graphic and several turn-event storyline, despite what action you
choose. And the good news is, it help you to stimulate your brain to make more
imagination, think many aspects before you choose the right path. It’s cool
right?
The last
benefit of being a gamer is it actually increase your knowledge. Many games
like Dynasty Warriors, Assassin Creed and God of War are created based on
Historical events that actually happen, and those games will teach you what you
will learn in History’s book. For example: the latest assassin creed games have
a storyline based on American Independence war and it will also help you to
learn American History’s book, not to mention it also develop your English skill
for non-English language speaker or for those who are. Just like killing to
birds with one stone!
Basically, improving and
developing these skills will really help you in real life, but you must also
remember, everything has a price. You will gain something, but at the same time
you lose something. So, play wisely. #30HariBercerita /@ecchisan
